Free support is available via aseek-users mailing list. ASPseek community can answer your questions there. We reserve the right to not answer the mails (except real bug reports) from people who do not have our "Powered by ASPseek" logo (or "Powered by ASPseek free search engine software" text) linked to ASPseek home page.E-mail support ($150/year)
E-mail support is a very inexpensive support option and should be thought of more as a way to support our development of ASPseek than as a real support option. We do give a lot of free support in ASPseek-related lists, and the money we get from basic e-mail support is largely used to make this possible.At this support level, the ASPseek mailing lists are the preferred means of communication. Questions normally should be mailed to the users mailing list aseek-users, as someone else already may have experienced and solved the problem you have.
However, by purchasing basic e-mail support, you also have access to the support address aseek-support@lists.asplinux.ru, which is not available as a part of the minimal support. This means that for especially critical questions, you can cross-post your message to aseek-support@lists.asplinux.ru. (If the message contains sensitive data, you should post only to aseek-support@lists.asplinux.ru).
Remember to always include expiration date of your contract when you send a message to aseek-support@lists.asplinux.ru.
Basic e-mail support includes the following types of service:
- If your question is already answered in ASPseek documentation, we will inform you of the correct place in which you can find the answer. If the answer is not in the manual, we will point you in the right direction to solve your problem.
- We guarantee a timely answer for your e-mail messages. We can't guarantee that we can solve any problem, but at least you will receive an answer if we can contact you by e-mail.
- We will help with unexpected problems when you install ASPseek from a binary distribution on supported platforms. This level of support does not cover installing ASPseek from a source distribution. Supported platforms are those for which ASPseek is known to work.
- We will help you with bugs and missing features. Any bugs that are found are fixed for the next ASPseek release. If the bug is critical for you, we will mail you a patch for it as soon the bug is fixed. Critical bugs always have the highest priority for us, and we ensure that they are fixed as soon as possible.
- Your suggestions for the further development of ASPseek will be taken into consideration. By taking email support you have already helped the further development of ASPseek. If you want to have more input, upgrade to a higher level of support.
- If you want us to help optimize your system, you must upgrade to a higher level of support.
Login support ($1000/year)
- Same day priority support via e-mail.
- Installation support and instruction via e-mail and telephone, including best practices documentation and hints for better performance.
- Participate in and influence future product feature discussions, including development of product extensions that directly benefit your business.
- Direct system support via Internet for specific issue resolution and optimization.
- Two support incidents (e-mail and telephone) with an ASPseek Professional Services developer.
Extended login support ($5000/year)
- Four hour response via e-mail and/or telephone (highest priority).
- Pre-installation system analysis and optimization for ASPseek.
- Customized extensions and one year of ASPseek binary distributions compiled specifically for your system.
- Active participation and influence of future product development, including product extensions specific to your business.
- Five priority support incidents (e-mail and telephone) with an ASPseek.
- Professional Services developer.
- Extended log-in support customers are entitled to one on-site visit (8 hours) by an ASPseek Professional Services engineer (not including travel and accommodation expenses). Customers also receive a 20% discount on all Professional Services work following the initial 8-hour engagement.
